Roanoke, Virginia

Saturday, June 30, 2007 - Sunday, July 1, 2007

This was a weekend trip to pick up Sara and Andrew for their month stay with us in Binghamton. We headed out on Saturday morning and arrived in the Roanoke area before the kids did. To kill some time, we went to the Salem Fair (the largest free gate fair in Virginia) and walked around until they arrived. We threw the kids in the car, and then headed back north. We drove as far as Hagerstown, Maryland and stayed the night at (insert hotel name here).

On Sunday morning, we got up and drove to Hershey, PA. There, we went to Chocolatetown and did the Great American Chocolate Ride (twice), watched the show, and ate some lunch. After that, we drove the last leg of the trip back home.
