A quick trip 'home' with a lot packed into it! Left early on Saturday morning for Syracuse. Landed, grabbed the rental car, and then it was off to our traditional breakfast diner - Ruston's Diner! After breakfast we headed towards campus, parked the car and went to Orange Crate Brewing, one of our pre-game go to sites. To campus for the SU band on the quad and then off to the game. We stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Syracuse
We had some time to kill on Sunday before our flight back home, so we headed to Beak and Skiff Apple Orchards, also home to 1911 Hard Cider. For as long as we lived in Upstate New York, we had never been to this location. A perfect fall day greeted us there - partly cloudy skies, comfortable temperature, and beautiful scenery! Headed back towards the airport and had some time to kill so we stopped at The Clam Bar, a location we had tried to visit on a previous trip. After some food and drinks there it was off to the airport and home.
