Skaneateles, New York

A daytrip to one of our favorite small towns in Upstate New York, Skaneateles. The Pee Wee A team had a game against the Lakers at the Allyn Ice Pavilion - the old, slightly 'outdoor' rink, not to be confused with the shiney newer rink right up the street. The Lakers defeated our Sens 5-3, with Mike playing the second half of the game and letting up two goals (neither of which were his fault, both off of deflections from the 'd' in front of him).

Jill and I went to the Blue Water Grill for dinner afterwards. This has become one of our favorite restaurant destinations in the Upstate New York youth hockey travelling area. We shared a nice BBQ shrimp appetizer, then Jill had a goat cheese and scallop salad, while I had the 'surf and turf' - 6 oz filet mignon and crab stuffed shrimp. After dinner, we headed back to Binghamton.
