Sara had been invited to perform with Defying Gravity: The Music of Stephen Schwartz and Eric Whitacre at Avery Fisher Hall at the Lincoln Center in New York City. Jill and I drove down to watch the performance as well as spend some time with the kids. Home in the evening (where we got stuck on the highway, one mile from our exit, at a dead stand still).
