This was the Pepsi Hockey Invitational, played at the Holiday and Leisure Rinks in suburban Buffalo, New York. The Selects played against the CCYHA Blue Jackets on Friday night, the Depew Saints Selects on Saturday afternoon, and the Erie Lions Selects on Sunday morning. Michael relieved Spencer Root in the game versus the Blue Jackets, and he also played in the game against Depew on Saturday.

We stayed at the Comfort Suites, Buffalo on Dick Road, and were even able to sneak in a jaunt to Niagara Falls after the game on Saturday. After the game on Sunday we stopped at the Walden Galleria and had lunch at Jack Astor's on Dick Road.
