This is probably the craziest trip that we have taken so far! We left Binghamton on Sunday morning and headed to Springfield, Massachusettes for the Sens/Falcons game, with the entire brood in tow! This was our first trip to Springfield, and a good part of the arena was under reconstruction - which is a good thing! Ran into quite a few friendly fans in Springfield, most marveling at the fact that all five of us had made the trip to watch the Sens play there. Mike Brown of the Senators also showed his appreciation for us making the trip by tossing a game puck to Michael in between periods. We also saw Vince McInerney at the game, and he asked at that point if we were going on to Manchester for the game the next night. Knowing that we had to get the kids home, we told him no and that we would have to make the trip another time. After the game, we headed back to Binghamton, and dropped the kids off to their 'other parents' respectively.

Sometime during the trip home from Springfield, we talked at length about how far Manchester was, if we could actually make the trip, etc., and realized that in fact it could be done and we were crazy enough to do it! So, on Monday around mid-day we were right back on the road again, headed for Manchester, New Hampshire! We literally pulled in the parking lot of the Verizon Wireless Arena during warm ups! We found our way to the glass by the Sens bench and watched warm ups, and as we did Vince spoted us from the upper deck of the Verizon Wireless Arena - thought he was going to keel over when he saw us, and subsequently when we told him we had gone back to Binghamton and turned right around to come back to New England for the Manchester game. Part of this game was delayed because when they took the one of the protective nettings down from behind the goal they couldn't get it to go back up again! Everyone that was sitting behind the goal had to move elsewhere in the arena - which wasn't an easy task since they usually sold out most of their games up there! After the game, we spent the night at the 'Tage Inn Manchester Airport'and then headed back home on Tuesday morning.
