Kevin West and Augie Ojeda drove in six runs combined to help the Rochester Red Wings to an 11-3 shellacking of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons Saturday at Lackawanna County Stadium.

With the Red Wings leading 3-1 in the fifth, West slammed a two-run homer, his second of the season, over the left field wall off Pedro Liriano (0-3).

In the ninth, Rochester poured on six more runs. West hit an RBI single, and Ojeda drove in three with a double to right -- his only hit of the night.

Todd Dunwoody plated one and went 3-for-6, collecting his sixth double and team-leading second triple. Garrett Jones, the Red Wings' second-highest run producer (17) added two RBIs.

The Red Barons scattered three runs over three innings. Shane Victorino blasted his fifth homer in the fourth. Chris Coste had a sacrifice fly the next inning and hit an RBI single in the seventh.

Rochester's Jimmy Anderson (2-1) gave up two runs on six hits, four walks and struck out three over five frames.

The Red Wings are one game out of first place, and the Red Barons are 2½ games back in the International League North.

The teams will conclude their two-game series at 2 p.m. ET Sunday. -- Marissa Rega/MLB.com
