Sunday, April 10, 2016 - Monday, April 18, 2016

A broken up trip of sorts - first half of the week Jill was presenting at the AAPC HealthCon, the second half of the week we ran in the RunDisney Dark Side Challenge race. On Monday, we found ourselves at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto. On Tuesday evening, we met up with Gem and Rich and went to JellyRolls (great time had by all!). Wednesday, we visited one of my most favorite spots on all of property - La Cava de Tequila :-). Thursday, we went to the expo for the races - and it was pure insanity! In and amongst all of the insanity though we ran into Paul and Della! That evening we ended up at Raglan Road, and I had a most excellent Irish whiskey sampler! Friday was some walking around Epcot time (with a stop at the sake bar in Japan ;-) ). Saturday morning (and we're talking MORNING here folks!) was the first part of the challenge - the 10K! Ran into our friend Dereka in the corrals as well - which was amazing considering how crazy it was there! Lunch that day was at Splitsville in Disney Springs (on the recommendation of Gem and Rich). And, finally, our carb up dinner - at Delmonico's! A little taste of Upstate New York in our favorite locale in all the world! Finished our second race on Sunday morning - the half marathon! Sunday afternoon, for a complete change of pace, we went to the Orlando City MLS game at the Citrus Bowl. Monday morning found us back to MCO, and ultimately back to Upstate New York.
