New York, New York

Our first trip to New York, of the week, brought us to Madison Avenue for Jill's appointment with Dr. Castellano, a pain management 'specialist'. We left early morning after I got home from work, and we drove to Harrison. Unfortunately, our favorite lot was FULL!, so we parked in the Little Man lot, which was behind the newly constructed parking ramp (which wasn't open as of yet).

PATH train into the city, and then the 1 train to 42nd street before hopping on the W train, the nearest to our destination. We stopped into F.A.O. Schwartz to waste some time, and then to Jill's appointment. The doc was about 45 minutes to an hour late for the appointment, much to our chagrin.

After the appointment, with good appetites in tow, we headed to Carmine's, which was at 2450 Broadway on the Upper West Side. John Janos had suggested the restaurant for us, and boy was he right on the mark!! Awesome food! We got the 'spiedini alla romana' as an appetizer, and we shared the 'penne alla vodka' as a main course. We were way full by dessert! so we skipped that. With two containers of leftovers in hand, we hopped back on the subway and PATH and headed back to Binghamton.
