Nashville, Tennessee

Friday, April 10, 2015 - Tuesday, April 14, 2015

A jaunt to the Music City to see Sara; the trip was twofold - one for her sorority's luncheon, and two to watch her perform. The excerpt for her performance is as follows:

Tonights Opera Workshohp will feature two very short chamber pieces: Sunday Excursion by Alec Wilder and A Hand of Bridge by Samuel Barber. The featured scenes are from Act III of Blitzstein's Regina and Amelia goes to the Ball (with cuts) by Menotti. The Workshop is at 7:30 p.m. in Massey Concert Hall. The event is free and open to the public and offers MUG and Convo for students.

While in Nashville, Sara and I went to Hattie B's hot chicken (awesome!), and I did a self-made brewery tour which included Jackalope and The Black Abbey, as well as a stop at Party Fowl for some Yazoo on tap!

Jill was originally going to be with me on this trip, but after it was planned Mike's Syracuse orientation was scheduled and we both thought it best she was there with him. She did make a quick stop in Nashville - as a layover - and I went to the airport to spend her layover with her, then she was off to home.
