Saturday, August 9th

So, here's something we don't normally do - a rock concert! Mike wanted to see KISS and Def Leppard in concert, and lo and behold the duo came to The Pavilion at Montage Mountain! Headed out late afternoon on Saturday and stopped off at Quaker Steak and Lube for some dinner before making our way to The Pavilion. Interesting venue for a concert - some seating and lots of lawn area. Unfortunately, what we weren't told when bought the tickets - our seats had a huge pole in front of them severely obstructing our view of the stage. After the cover band played Def Leppard came out and played for just under and hour, and then KISS followed with a set that lasted just over an hour. Sat for just a short bit in the parking lot trying to get out (concert ended at 11:05, we were out of the parking lot by 11:35 - not as bad as I had expected). Made a quick stop at Sheetz in Dunmore before coming home.

Trip Notes:

Sat in section 202, row L, Seats 7-8-9; BIG pole in front of us - obstructed view of stage.
